Unexpected comfort in Gonzales

The peaceful environment made our stay special, and the fresh breakfast options kept everyone satisfied. The staff’s local recommendations were spot on, guiding us to wonderful dining experiences nearby.

However, our room felt a bit gloomy, and the view from our window wasn’t the best. The layout was slightly awkward, making it tricky to enjoy the TV comfortably.

Despite a noisy ice machine impacting sleep, the room's spaciousness was a plus, with enjoyable breakfast options including eggs and bacon, making it a decent stay overall.

The lack of hot water during busy morning hours needs attention!!! Getting my room key to work repeatedly was frustrating!!! The condition of bathroom fixtures could greatly improve guest satisfaction!!! Management responsiveness leaves room for improvement!!!

this place was an absolute outrage! a/c was extra noisy and there was a dead cockroach in the restroom—how delightful! i can't believe the check-in lady couldn't manage a smile, let alone an upgrade for me. it's clear they don't treat all guests equally. i almost wrote a good review. but just couldn’t!

Had an awesome time with my friends! We went hiking and enjoyed wildlife viewing at nearby parks. Also took a free tour at Spoetzl Brewery, which was a real treat. The hotel was clean, modern, and the breakfast had a great variety. The entire staff was super helpful and made our stay even better. Definitely a place to come back to!

The only downside was the room view. ours faced a pool with some nearby trailers, which wasn’t that scenic. I’d recommend asking for a room at the front for a better sight.

I stayed for 1 night in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds, Non-Smoking. The room was spacious and clean. I appreciated the helpful staff at check-in. Breakfast included a good variety of options. Free parking made it convenient. 😊

Nice stay despite a few hiccups

We stayed for 2 nights and had a decent time! Nice location, and the staff at check-in was super friendly. The pools looked cool, but we wish they were more cleaned up. Also, the whole breakfast area was great with picnic tables outside, perfect for enjoying the morning sun!

Wi-Fi was reliable, and the outdoor pool was refreshing. Room was a bit cramped.

Great fit for a budget stay in Gonzales with extraordinary good value for money. The coffee in the morning was surprisingly excellent and kept me energized for the day. Try to grab a room away from the elevator to avoid noise.

The King Room was spacious, with a large work desk that made it convenient for finishing some tasks. Plus, the bedding was soft and provided a great night's sleep. The outdoor pool area was refreshing and a nice way to unwind after a day of activities.

The breakfast area was a bit cramped during peak times.
